Udayanidhi Stalin is an Indian actor, filmmaker, worked in the Tamil film industry. Also, he made his career in Politics as well. While he joined the film industry and initially worked as film producer along with a production studio-Red Giant Movies. During his production career, he made films, such as; “Kuruvi” (2008), “Aadhava” (2009), and “Manmadan Ambu”, (2010). He made a film debut as an actor with a movie Oru Kal Oru Kannadi” and also produced movies.

He is the son of M.K.Stalin, who is a former Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Stalin did his schooling from Don Bosco and later graduated from Loyola College in Visual Communications. After completing his studies, he decided to join the film industry as his several relatives are associated with the film industry in the 1960s.

Career

The actor stared his career as a producer with Rad Giant Movies-Production Studio and he made various movies, such as; “Kuruvi” (2008) in which Trisha and Vijay worked together. He made two movies named “Aadhavan” in 2009, while “Manmadan Ambu” in 2010 and both films were directed by K.S. Ravikumar.

Later, he produced another fiction movie “7aum Arivu” which was released in 2011. He also worked as a distributor, achieved success through his four best releases of the year 2010, such as; “Boss Engira Bhaskaran”, “Mynaa”, “Vinnaithaandi” and “Madrasapattinam”.

He also worked in Pandiraj’s drama “Vamsam” in 2010 and also appeared in Mysskin’s directorial “Yuddam Sei” which was released in 2011. However, he made a broad career in the film line and marked a special identity in the cinematic world.

Apart from this, he made a political career as a Secretary of Youth Wing in Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam in 2019. Before this, he started Tamil Nadu Campaigning –Lok Sabha Elections for the Dravida Munnetra Kazham and other alliance parties in 2019.
