Henderson played basketball for Carlton J. Kell High School in Marietta, Georgia. As a sophomore, he was named Class 5A Player of the Year after leading his team to the state semifinals.
He scored a career-high 49 points against Miller Grove High School. As a junior, Henderson averaged 32 points, seven rebounds, and six assists per game, helping his team reach the state title game. He earned Class 6A Player of the Year honors.
Henderson was a consensus five-star recruit and one of the top point guards in the 2021 class.
