Peter Dougan Capaldi is a Scottish actor and is also known for being a talented, veteran singer, writer, and director. He also portrayed the role of a doctor in ‘Doctor Who’ (2014-2017). He acted as Malcolm Tucker in ‘The Thick of It’ (2005-2012). For his performance, he was awarded four British Academy Television Award nominations.

Career

Peter Capaldi has acted in more than 40 movies and television shows since he made an appearance as Danny Oldsen in ‘Local Hero’ in 1983.

He became famous for being a Beatles member George Harrison in ‘John and Yoko: A Love Story’ (1985). Additionally, he acted in ‘The Lair of the White Worm’ (1988), ‘Dangerous Liaisons’ (1988), ‘Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’, and many more.

Among others, Peter starred in ‘Inside the Mind of Leonardo, a documentary about ‘Leonardo da Vinci’. In 2013, the actor portrayed the role of Alan Rusbridger, the editor of ‘The Guardian’ in ‘The Fith Estate’.

In 2014, Peter Capaldi acted in a new adaptation of ‘The Three Musketeers’ in which he portrayed the role of Cardinal Richelieu on BBC One.
